hello. I know it's been a long time. I'm not starting this blog up again, but I felt like I should post something about the previous post, in case someone stumbles onto this site.

While I remember itching to leave, I feel like what I really wanted to have was the opportunity to leave my parents' overprotective gazes. I've been in college for two and a half months, and I was at Summer Bridge for a month, and now all I can do is miss home and miss my friends and miss food.

and also, I never ended up using the mqu tumblr to blog about my summer bridge experience. I was just too caught up in it! In retrospect, it was the best time of my life. I learned so much about myself, and I grew up so much in that short month. I lived with ten girls I can honestly call my sisters, all of whom I love and miss sooooo much. I had fantastic mentors.
